Intraday Power Trader
Nordic Energy House is looking for a Power Trader to join our Intraday team. The Power Trader will be responsible for monitoring and trading power products in the European wholesale energy markets. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing energy trading strategies and executing trades.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, execute trades, and manage risk
• Generate ideas and develop strategies for capturing market opportunities
• Utilize pricing models and other analytical tools to identify trading opportunities
• Analyze and report on trading activities
• Maintain a high level of understanding of the energy markets and regulations
Qualifications:
• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 2-5 years experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
